A 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization that provides food clothing hygiene products and resources to get temporary shelter and hotel stays to homeless families single women and young people as an avenue to become self-sufficient in their communities

Kija Homeless to Home Transitional Housing Inc. Is a non-profit organization that provides food clothing hygiene products Covid-19 survival kits, masks, gloves, sanitizer, water and resources to temporary shelter and hotel stays as an avenue to become self-sufficient in their community.

I started my mission to feed clothe and provide housing resources to these homeless families in November 2014 after seeing that they lacked these necessities to survive living on the streets. I served these homeless families single women and young people by providing them with freshly cooked hot home-cooked meals clothing water and now Covid-19 survival kits mask, gloves, hand sanitizer and hygiene products to assist with keeping them safe.

I have always extended my support to help the homeless since I was 9 yrs old giving them food blankets and water with my grandmother. I carried this legacy on into my adulthood by providing them with food water clothing and money whenever I would see them in the street. On my most recent mission serving my homeless community me and my family came across a mother and her 4 daughters ages from ages 6-12 sleeping on church steps in Atlanta.

I had run out of food this day from serving homeless families and single women so I went to Popeyes chicken to buy the family a bucket of chicken and drinks. This family stuck with me the most because it brought back memories of when I was homeless with my 5 children, I knew the feeling this mother felt of being alone and helpless with her children out in the streets not able to give them shelter.

I made a vow to this homeless mother that I would do more than just feed and clothe her family I would become a nonprofit so I can get the funding to provide them with shelter and resources to help them come out of streets. On this day 04/27/2017 I officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. My vision for my organization comes in two Phases. Phase {1} Kija homeless to home transitional housing Inc. is in the process of opening up our first transitional housing shelter to provide shelter food clothing Covid-19 survival kits, masks, gloves, sanitizer, hygiene products counseling/therapy job/life skill training housing placement and day care services to our homeless families single women and young people we currently serve in our community.

Phase {2} Kija homeless to home transitional housing Inc. will then open up an apartment development or multifamily for low-income families and single so when our families transition out of our shelter they will transition into permanent housing to end their homeless.Housing is a right not a privilege and every family and single women deserves to have adequate housing food clothing and resources for them and their family to live a normal self-sufficient life.

This can only be accomplished with generous donations from the community and government agencies. It takes a village to raise a child and community. Your support in our vision and mission will be gladly needed and appreciated. As a mother and grandmother my heart goes out to these families single women and young people that are living without walls with your help and support we can make a major impact on the lives of our homeless community. God loves a cheerful giver may he place it on your heart to give monetary donations clothes, food Covid-19 survival kits masks, gloves, sanitizer, hygiene products and water to help these homeless families single women and young people that are in need. Our mission is to bring these homeless families single women and young people off the street and into shelter/housing. God bless you stay safe and Thanks in advance.
